Higher Education Board

Higher Education Board (HEB) is the arm of IECI that coordinates the activities of colleges associated with IECI. Two sets of colleges come under this category; Islamiya Colleges and Arts and Science Colleges. Islamiya Colleges' thrust is on the Islamic knowledge system. Students will be exposed to the basics of Islamic knowledge, tradition and culture and they will be sensitised about how Islam acts as the healing for the ailments haunting the current world. HEB designs and implements curricular plans in its Islamiya Colleges by keeping these goals in mind. Along with their Islamic content, students also undergo UG programmes affiliated with universities. This equips them to be the active participant in the nation-building process. Arts and Science Colleges are affiliated with various universities. HEB guides these institutions to attain quality standards and mandatory accreditations.
